merry christmas, Izzy!!!

Doug helped our neighbor haul hay a few times and he gave us a baby horse for Izzy!!! The black is the Momma and brown the daddy. That Bob is a pretty nice guy, huh?

Isabella and I used to do yoga together, she saw "namaste yoga" on tv and has done a total of one and a half hours of yoga today!

Merry Christmas, friends!

I decided since I put our blogspot on our christmas card I should try to get it caught up...sorry for the pics not being flipped, i was in a hurry. We're doing well, izzy has a new, beautiful "big girl bed" which she sleeps in half the night then moves to the couch...we have almost 2 feet of snow...we're hiped up on sugar and haven't seen the light of day since Tuesday...all in all, we're doing really well. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hope you're having a good one!

12-1-8 Mom, "wow, Isabella, look! That is one fat cat!" (speaking of Gray Cat who doug and i swore must be prego she's getting so fat)
Izzy, after looking and a moment's thoughtful consideration said, "Wierd...that's really amazing."

12-5-8 "Umm...Mom...Would you mind getting me some more yogurt, please?" I of course hugged and kissed her and said, "Isabella, I would be happy to get you some yogurt." Now, when I tell her no to something she thinks for a minute and rephrases the question and she typically gets her way because how could you say no to such sweetness?!?

12-9-8 "Judy, do Vitamins feel me good?"

while I was walking around the car to open her door, izzy said in a paniced voice, "Judy, don't leave me! I might cry!"

12-10-08 "Judy, I need to go get my zipper jacket. The one La la gave me. Dad's mom Lala. Becky." complete with multiple hand gestures...as if I didn't know who Lala was.

12-10-08 izzy and I have taken up "barrys boot camp" a killer workout dvd that boasts only 1 minute workouts. while doing the "mountain climber" and barely able to breath, I looked over at izzy and gasped, "I'm hurt'n" she looked back at the beautiful and skinny women on the dvd and said matter of factly, "Those other girls not hurt'n."

12-13-8 'That's so es-kiteing for it to snow! I love to eat snow! yum yum yum. MOm, why's it snowing?"

12-21-08 For the first time, i had to knock on izzy's door before opening it...she's decided she likes her privacy sometimes.

12-23-08 Isabella was playing with her christmas train and for once I actually needed her to wash the dishes, "Izzy, would you like to help me wash some dishes?" I asked expecting her to be thrilled as she usually is. Instead she answered, "Ummm..no. I gotta watch my train go by." What can i say, she's a busy girl.

Of all things, i think izzy was most excited about her dora bandaids...not really, but it was funny that less than an hour after opening all kinds of cool presents she was begging to wash dishes...no joke.later she put big daddy Hxxxxx down for a nap while mom left the third sinkful of dishes for the day AFTER Christmas.(can you believe how big Gray Cat is getting?!?)
