izzy's igloo
I deciede dthat with all this snow, izzy needed an igloo...well, i got an enourmous room cleared out and another little hideing spot-perfect for an english guard snowman- and a trail cleared out to go to the fire pit...but I ran out of steam before I got to the igloo. and now the snow is too dry. so maybe we want one more snow...maybe. maybe izzy will have to be happy with the fort.and half a fire pit. and no
palace guard snowman. the first pics are of izzy in the same place in our front yard. the snow was up over the handle of the shovel.
more snow
the pic of me and izzy, i am standing in our front yard. the one of her she is also standing...no kneeling for a good pic, although, now that I think of it, why didn't we do that????? If you look at the pic of guinness in his pen, the back fence is two squares from the top in snow. those are hog panels! It was hillarious bc i thought a few times that he had gotten out but I just couldn't see him because he would be below the level of the snow in his pen. there were areas that would pack down well for him and others he'd just disapear for a little while...
other pics are of doug shoveling our roof. the snow covers teh vents and you have no heat.
the second big snow
that is a yard stick behind izzy, also on our front porch.
the next pic is out our living room window of the barbed wire fence with snow up the about 3-4" from the top
if you remember, we had a huge snow a month or so ago that left us without power for about three days. la la left on saturday night and we got pumlted the next day. We got about 6 inches while at church and it escalated from there. we ended up with around 18-24 inches. these pics and the next are from this snow and the one about a week later which dropped another foot or so. the extreme excess of snow has provided a lot of opportunities for doug to move snow with the scout for extra dough as well as shoveling roofs which has turned into a TON
of work and a lucrative business...nnot really.
