road trip to quray 3

We had awesome pizza, rich coffee, and local chocolate. We decided to take the "scenic route" home...to Telluride. don't look at a map and make us look foolish...we're plains people and we didn't have a map in the car...long story short, after driving ALL the way to Telluride-a very ritzy spot fyi-we took the wrong turn and went an hour and a half down what would've been a 4 hour deture. Needless to say, Izzy was tired of driving and had eatten all the 2hour supply of food we'd packed for her. We were in the BOONIES and finally found a gas station that was open and Izzy dined on fig nutens, cheese sticks, and water....then she crashed! It ended up being a very long day, but I really enjoyed it. We got home 13 1/2 hours later at 10:30 p.m. which made for an earily Sunday morning.
